CAPR® SHS eliminates fit-testing as with mask respirators, and bulky air tubes and external blowers of conventional PAPRs;
the entire airflow pathway is within the CAPR® Helmet.

  • Clean air moves through the system’s motor and flows through a laminar airflow path to the front air diffusers.

  • The diffused clean air flows in front of the face, ensuring effortless breathing, cooling comfort, no CO₂ buildup, and a fog-free lens.

  • As clean air mixes with potentially contaminated exhalation, it is directed through the back OPR exhaust filter, achieving 96% effectiveness in outward particulate reduction, protecting both patients and staff.
