1) Fraud Alert
A) Offical Notice of Spoofing Scam | August 18, 2022
An individual recently stole the identity of one of our employees using a spoofed email mimicking our employee’s email. The individual then sent emails to our customers asking for payment on invoices using a variety of bank accounts and routing numbers. The individual also stole the identity of another employee by using a similar email domain and phone number. The individual produced falsified documents and signatures in order to appear legitimate.
However, it remains your responsibility to ensure emails you receive regarding ACH and banking information changes – along with any other changes – are official MAXAIR® System’s correspondence and do not emanate from a fraudulent 3rd party impersonator. MAXAIR® Systems will never change ACH or other banking information without official correspondence. MAXAIR® Systems, at its own election, may update its website with similar official notices in the future to assist you in verifying official correspondence. Please contact Bio-Medical Devices International Inc. (DBA “MAXAIR® Systems”) at 1-800-443-3842 – or via email at info@maxair-systems.com – to verify changes to ACH, banking information, or any other MAXAIR® System’s changes.
Finally, we have attached a current bank account information sheet so you can be confident in remitting payments to us.

Please call 1-800-443-3842 then dial #7 to verify any changes or updates in payment method, payment type, payment details, or banking information details.
A customer service representative will be able to confirm or deny any changes or updates. The customer service representative cannot provide MAXAIR® financial or credential information over the phone, but will confirm or deny the information you have is correct or incorrect. If you need to update your records, the customer service representative will send you the correct information by email after verifying the email address you provided is legitimate.
If you receive any suspicious phone calls or emails, please immediately cease communication with the other party and call 1-800-443-3842 then dial #7 for assistance.
If no one answers your call, please leave a message, and we will try and get back to you within the next business day.

A) Safety Warning against use of Non-MAXAIR infringing products

DBA MAXAIR® Systems – and MAXAIR® brand product and component manufacturer Syntech Int’l Inc. – do not warrant, endorse, or certify repairs and re-work performed on MAXAIR® branded respirators and components by unauthorized 3rd parties. Currently there are no authorized 3rd party MAXAIR® brand respirator repair and rework businesses.
Bio-Medical Devices International Inc. DBA MAXAIR® Systems – and MAXAIR® brand product and component manufacturer Syntech Int’l Inc. – do not certify, endorse, or warrant components and products manufactured by unauthorized 3rd parties claiming compatibility with MAXAIR® branded respirators. Currently, there are no authorized 3rd party MAXAIR® brand product and component manufacturers aside from Syntech Int’l Inc.
