MAXAIR® shroud configurations extend protection beyond the face while staying on the same trusted platform.
Each MAXAIR® shroud configuration is built around one core helmet system, allowing teams to achieve multiple levels of extended respiratory, contact, and splash protection without changing helmets. Shrouds provide cost-friendly, flexible options for workflows that need protection beyond the face, with reusable filter components and hard hat options that help extend protection across more demanding environments.
MAXAIR® shrouds provide respiratory, contact, and splash protection designed for workflows requiring coverage beyond the face.Â
NIOSH approved advanced respiratory, contact, and splash protection.
MAXAIR® shrouds simplify safety with three configurations, multiple protection levels, and a universal fit for your entire team.
MAXAIR® shrouds provide cooling airflow with no breathing resistance, helping teams stay protected and comfortable longer.
The Single Shroud provides lightweight respiratory and contact/splash protection with extended coverage around the head, neck, and shoulders. Designed for single-use applications, it offers full-face visibility, comfortable airflow, and a simple shroud design for daily protection needs.
The Hybrid Shroud is designed for workflows that require extended shroud-style protection with flexible CAPR® system compatibility. It helps provide head, neck, and shoulder coverage while supporting respiratory protection through a compatible MAXAIR® helmet, filter, battery, and accessory configuration.
The Double Shroud provides an added layer of protection with an outer shroud body and inner shroud body. This configuration is designed for workflows that require more complete coverage and separation between the user, gown, and surrounding environment.
All MAXAIR® Shrouds can be configured with a standard Filter Cover Cap or converted to a Hard Hat configuration when additional head and face protection is needed, with optional accessories available for added protection.
Contaminated outside air is drawn into the helmet by the motor and directed through the filter.
The filtered air is then directed down across the user’s face through 10 airflow openings located beside the helmet LEDs.
Source control filters the wearer’s exhaled breath through the rear cuff filter, helping protect those around them.
