MAXAIR 2270 Series Hood Designs Optimally Target the Various Methods of Contaminant Transmission
DATE March 4, 2019 – Irvine, CA – MAXAIR® Systems Hoods are designed to provide enhanced protection against airborne, contact, and fluid transmitted contaminants.
The MAXAIR 2270 Series consists of the 2271PS-07 and 2271PB-07 Single Hoods and the 2272PB-07 Double Hoods. These hoods provide full 360o Head-Neck-Shoulder protection against airborne (aerosol and droplet), surface contact, and fluid (bloodborne and body fluids) transmission of contaminants.
The 2271PS-07 XP Hoods provide full coverage protection with high protection factor (APF = 1000) for all situations not requiring high fluid resistance.
The 2271PB-07 XP HFR Single and the 2272PB-07 XP HFR Double Hoods provide full coverage protection with high protection factor (APF = 1000) and additionally are tested against ASTM F1671 Specifications to ensure High Fluid Resistance.
All 2270 Series Hoods are fully compatible with MAXAIR CAPR Systems and easily interchangeable with CAPR Cuff and Shroud configurations.
